How long is vacuum sealed wine good for?

Like -- if you open a bottle of wine, only finish half and then use the vacuum sealer thingie to reseal it and when you open it you hear the "pop." How long is it still safe to drink? THANKS Chat Icon

Re: How long is vacuum sealed wine good for?

I would say it definitely prolongs the wine, but it doesn't last forever. I think the last bottle I used the vacuum on extended it for a few more days, maybe a week. The last glass tasted like it was turning, so I dumped it out. I would guess it was about 7-9 days after I opened it?
