How long until I get final report for CPSE eval?
My twins had the final round of their eval (Speech/OT) a little over 2 weeks ago. I remember they said something like they have 10 business days to write the report and I will get the final report with the individual ones and a summary like one in the mail as well as the district will notify me of my meeting date. I was told they won't ask what date is good, they will just set a date and I should really just try to keep that date otherwise if I force them to reschedule who knows when it may be.
Just wondering when do you think I will receive the report? I'm assuming this coming week hopefully. Everyday I keep checking my mailbox hoping it's there.

I know they tend to be pretty quick with this stuff.
I also have heard that is true about the date.
They can have you call in though if you can't take off work. I've done that before. The meeting will go on anyway. DH was supposed to attend once and forgot about it.
They tried calling is both but neither one of us picked up so we just called back and got the results.

In order to be in compliance, they must get you the reports 5 school days before the meeting. You can call the evaluating agency to see if they are ready.

So the eval called me today. My district meeting is Dec 17th. Doesn't that seem so far away? She said it was the first date available. I haven't seen the report yet. She said she overnighted it to me and to call her to discuss it after I review it. I tried to get out of her what she thinks they will qualify for, but she just kept repeating to take a look at the report.

They need to hold the meeting within 60 days from the date you sign the consent form. They need to get you the evaluation reports 5 school days prior to Dec 17th.

Strange because I signed the consent October 6th, the day we had their first eval. I guess it's 60 business days, not calendar days.

Yes, it's 60 school days so Dec 17th would put you within that time frame after you signed the consent.

How long until I get final report for CPSE eval?
When is your CPSE meeting Dolphin? Mine is 12/16 but still waiting on behavior eval & PT.

12/17. Just got the report today but I have no idea what any of this stuff means other than saying they are low or poor, but there are a million different areas they were evaluated in and not one over qualifying score. I know we'll review all this at the district meeting but I have a call into the evaluator tomorrow to try to get a feel of what she thinks they may qualify for (I'm hoping all day school for both-services were recommended for ot and speech, one is more delayed than the other though).

Didn't the evaluator tell you when she reviewed with you?
Our OT told us she recommends services & also wanted him eval for PT. We didn't have that test yet though.
It stinks going in there blind. I would ask someone so you are prepared

The evaluator should be able to explain it so you understand it better and she should be able to answer any questions you have. You definitely want to understand what it all means before the meeting.

I agree, you should definitely get in touch with the evaluators and ask that they go over each report with you.

Yes. The evaluator and I have a phone call scheduled for Monday to discuss the report. The evaluators only told us during the evaluation that they would be recommending services for them, which I knew. But I know it can be a broad range from just receiving service a couple times a week to going to a special school (I'm pretty sure one definitely qualifies, my other twin was borderline, low average on a lot of areas so not sure if he will qualify). Plan to discuss this and all my other questions with her then.
