MONDAY UPDATE: Final embryo report... Transfer is tomorrow morning!!!! 2nd Embryo report....(Got fertilization report... Retrieval complete...)
What a day! Still not home. Stuck in stop and go traffic on LIE. I was there for over 4 hours! We got 23 eggs and are really happy. I woke up feeling ok which quickly.wore.off. became nauseaous and had lots of.pain. Due to the fact that I developed OHSs in the past they made me lay there while I got 2 1,000 ml iv drip bags of saline so I wouldn't risk being dehydrated. Now we wait until tomorrow! Thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers!
8/12 Just found out that 20 of 23 fertilized!
8/13 Of the 20 that fertilized 18 are doing great. He said we have 14 that are grade A, and 4 that are grade B. 5 day transfer will be on Tuesday!
8/14 As of today all 18 embryos are 8 celled and grade A!
8/15 Talked to Dr. B earlier. He said that as of this morning 14 are Grade A morulas, some of which are progressing already into the blastocyst stage, so those are ahead of the game (didn't tell me how many). Transfer is at 11:30 tomorrow morning!!! I'm SO nervous!!! I have no idea what happened to the other 4. He said he didnt' ask about those. I don't know if we lost 4 overnight or if they're just less than grade A.... guess I'lll find out what's what tomorrow.
