How loyal is too loyal?
I am not crazy about the partner I have worked for. I worked for the partner over 14 years (law firm). (Don't worry - nobody here knows where I work.) The associate I work for I like very much and have worked for, for about 4 years. If the associate becomes a partner and goes to work at another firm, would it be politically incorrect to accept a position working for them and would the new partner be viewed as having "stolen" me from the old partner? Thoughts?
