How many calories should the average 125-130lb woman eat?
And then how many should you cut to lose weight?

To maintain your weight, I'd guess around 2000 calories. To lose weight, around 1500.

From what I just read in the Biggest Loser Cookbook it said to multiply your weight x 7 and that should be your calories if trying to lose weight. Sorry, not sure about what you should be eating to maintain.

wow, I think Weight X 7 is too low! For someone 130 lbs that would mean less than 1,000 calories a day!
I have heard Weight X 10 to lose weight, and Weight X 13 to maintain if you're not very active, Weight X 15 to maintain if you are active.

Depends on age and activity. Average active woman 20-30 yrs.. I would say no more then 2000 calories.

Too few calories would be counter productive because it will keep you from losing weight.
Have you thought about cutting meals into mini meals - so eat 5-6 mini meals versus 3 larger meals? That worked for me!

I actually just calculated this..and it told me 1441. So I would say around that to lose weight

thats definately way to little. You should be eating more than that. You are ideally supposed to eat six small meals a day. This will speed up your metabolism. 900 is way too low...

there is no way that is what WW would have you on. The LEAST amount of calories they would ever let someone get is 1200.

Each WW point is about 50 calories give or take. Basing this on myself, under 130 pounds and 28 years old, that's 18 points (which is the min that ww lets anyone have).
