How many guests did you have at your DC's baptism party?
Just curious -- I'm running numbers in my head and I think I'm already at 80 people I really feel like that's a lot and I dont want this to be like a wedding.
How many did you have at your DC's baptism? And how many attended the church?

Our narrowed down guest list was still 94 people  , so we've decided not to have a party! After the church we're going to take our parents, and siblings out to dinner at the cheesecake factory and thats it!

I'm only having around 30 people. I didn't want a huge party so I kept it just close family and close friends.

For Jared's baptism, we had about 35-40 people. This time for Nikolas' baptism, we're having 25.

I'm jewish, so no baptism.. but we are having DD's Simcha Bat (baby naming) this Sunday and the final headcount is 148 My IL's were a little out of control with the guest list.

Same, that includes kids. Almost everyone was at the church, we had a private ceremony.
Some family came back to the house afterwards for coffee & drinks. We invited our friends to come to the house party. I would have liked to have had friends at the restaurant but that was out of our budget. Luckily our friends understood and were happy to join us at the house.

We tried to narrow it down as much as we can ~ We had immediate family and some close friends. I think we inivited somewhere between 75-85 and we had about 55-60 people come.

60 people. We could of had about 150, but we aren't inviting 2nd cousins. I had to draw the line somewhere

110 adults and children and 27 infants with carriers!!! needless to say it was soooo crowded!!!! we had about 50 attend the church...

90 people. I do not know exactly how many came to the church, but I would guess around 40 (it was a private ceremony).

about 20. All immediate family from mine and DH's family (just our parents, our brothers and sisters and their kids. NO cousins or anyone else!). It was August and it was catered food in our yard.
