How many hours anight should an 8 month old be sleeping?
I get 10 hours out of dd at night and if i am lukcy a total of maybe 2 -21/2 hours of napping during the day and thats including naps in the car to and from the sitter

My DD is a little over 7 months. I get about 11 hours out of her at night and she wakes to be fed once but goes right back to sleep. Her naps total about 3-4 hours. Every child is different so I think we are both within the "norms".

I think they *should* still be getting around 12 hrs at night....but we get 10-11 hours if lucky (Rare) and at home about 3-4 hrs of naps. At daycare anywhere from 30 minutes to 1.5 hrs of naps. and he wakes up at 5:30am most days.

My boys sleep about 10 hours anight.
Matthew takes 2...2 hour naps, and Christopher will take 2...1 hour naps.

He used to give me a solid 12 hours with a total of 3 hours in naptime..
Now with teething i couldn't tell you. He's up 2-3 times a night once in a while, 1/2 an hour each time.
I hate teething.

We get anywhere from 10 - 11 hours, and that is with 2 1/2 napes during the day, sometimes more!

i was going to post the same ques...dd is going to be 8 mos on the 22nd but used to give us 12-13 hrs w/ a 1 hr or do nap but lately gives us 10-11 (still goes down at the same time but gets up earlier! ) and fewer in naps ...maybe a 1/2 hr to 45 min....

Jack will be 8 months on the 18th. He goes to bed between 7-8:30p and gets up between 6:30-7:30a.
He has breakfast and goes right back down for a 2 hr nap and then naps a 2nd time later in the day (after lunch) for about 2 hrs.

My DD is also 8mths and gets about 10-11hrs at night with 1.5-2hrs worth of naps during the day.
