How many hours is your 2 year old's nursery program?

The only one that I have looked at so far is 2x a week for an hour and a half each... seems kind of short to me?

2x times a week for 2 hrs. It was plenty for Andrew for his first time in school. Now in Sept he will be going 3x a week and 2 1/2 hrs.

1 time a week for one hour...

at first it was perfect- she was a little scared and needed to get used to the whole thing.

Now it's a little short- but the year is almost finished and it will be longer next year- 2 1/2 hours 3x/week

2 hours a day, twice a week. I wouldn't want him there for more than that at his age. He will just be turning two when he goes. I'm freaking a little when I have to drop him and go Chat Icon I never left him anywhere without me (except grandmas house)

DS will be starting a 3 year old program in the fall, but they have a 2 1/2 year old program also that is 2 days a week for 2 hours. I think that's plenty for that age. They won't even take 2 year olds unless they're at least 2.5 by September.

I researched a couple and most seem to be 2 days a week for 2 hours a day.

DD started a 2 1/2 year old program in january. it's 2 days a week for 3 hours. the other comprable schools in the area are 2 1/2 hours. i wanted the 3 hours and a morning session, that's what i got. next year it will be 3 days a week then 4 or 5.

DS will be going this year and will be 3. I chose a 2 day a week for 2 1/2 hrs. Its his first time in school and at first it will be hard on me :o)

Edited bc I also wanted to say: my friend was looking for her ds who will be 2 and most programs were 1 1/2 or 2 hrs twice a week.

Most of the programs in my area are 3 days, 2 1/2 hours (they also have a M - F program for 2 1/2 year olds). That is what DS does and it is perfect. The kids have to be 2 before October 1.
