how many interviews for a position?
How many interviews did you guys go on for one job? Meaning, a screening/panel interview/demo for one? is there more than that?

I had Asst. Supt, then Asst Supt with Principal and then was hired after a 5 min meeting with the Supt, though I was told it was going to be an interview... seems like every district does things differently

This was pretty much my experience too. I had a screening interview, a panel interview plus writing sample, brief meeting with assistant superintendent (of human resources), then meeting with the superintendent. So, I had to go a total of three times. Then about a half hour after I left the superintendent meeting, I got a call offering me the job.

Three, no demo. Third was to offer the position and go over salary.

I work in NYC when I got this job I literally sat for 5 minutes with the principal. She looked at my resume, asked me a few questions like what grade I wanted and that was it! Hired on the spot...it was 2 days before school started!
