For our last party we had 55 adults and just a few kids. We had cake, fruit and a chocolate fountain. We ordered 5 pounds of cookies and had a large amount leftover.

I laughed a little too Chat Icon

To answer your question, go for 5 pounds. You can always freeze whatever is leftover.
