How many meds?
Do you take?

To be this person who is on 5 different medications?

Right now I take 4 pills a day (3 because I am pregnant- vitamin, folic acid, baby aspirin and 1 for an ongoing condition)

Soon I will be on no less than 7 meds.
After a short time I will be on 4 and then hopefully only 2-3.
Not counting supps.

Clarinex for allergies
Synthroid for underactive Thyroid

My DH is a type 2 diabetic (long time diabetic) and is on a ton of medications. It's the standard protocol for diabetics now to be given several meds for preventative purposes ... so he takes Lipitor to prevent heart disease although he does not have high cholesterol, he takes a blood pressure med to protect the kidneys even though his blood pressure is fine, etc.

Too many!
I usually take:
9 pills/day for Crohns (but I feel great because of them!)
the pill
i'm also on steroid eye drops 4x a day for an eye issue that will hopefully clear up soon
a multi-v if i can remember

Not preggo-I have a lot more with RA meds.

I take 2 pills and one injection a day when I am not pregnant.
Right now I just take the 2 pills.

When I wasn't pregnant, I was taking synthroid, birth control, and flutamide (for PCOS). Now I take the synthroid, a calcium supplement, an iron supplement, and a prenatal. I'll probably keep taking all the supplements after the baby is born and go back to the other 2 pills so I'll be up to 6 pills a day. AND I cant take certain pills with others because they counteract so I have to remember to take pills 3x a day.
