Re: How many of you are hosting a Holiday?

I normally do, but there is too much going on this year.

I have hosted the last 4 Thanksgivings & New Year's Day dinners.

We rotate Easter, and this year is not my year.Chat Icon

Re: How many of you are hosting a Holiday?

We are hosting Christmas Day for both sides of the family. I don't know how we are going to fit everyone this year, I think we will have 18-20.

I'd do Christmas Eve at my house, but we'd have to order food.

It would just be immediate family though, my house isn't big enough to have both of our families, well it is but it would be hectic and a bit tight.

We're doing Thansgiving again this year. We hosted it for the first time last year, and I think its now become "our" holiday.

Re: How many of you are hosting a Holiday?

Not hosting any.....we live with his sister and she is the most boring peraon I have ever met. My S/O works all holidays until 5pm, she thinks that it too late and will not wait dinner for him, so we will be trying to make other plans.

On a side note....Laura1976, I haven;t had a traditional Italian Christmas Eve in years.....can we come Chat Icon

We host Thanksgiving every year...this will be our 9th annual.

For the past 2 years, we have hosted EVERY holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Mother's DAy, Father's Day) because my parents have been remodeling their home. Thank G*d that's over!
