How many of your gifts are from you versus the bearded old man?
my parents had always had given us one gift from them while the rest were from Santa.
how do you do it?

Depends on the number of gifts
This year i think maybe 2-3 are from us. The rest are from the bearded man.

DS is getting one from us, the rest are part of his train table which are all from Santa.
DSS is 14 so they are all from us (according to DH) I do the wrapping so I think toys will still be from Santa

All from Santa. I figure when the whole Santa myth gets blown out of the water when my DD is older she will realize all the gifts over the years were from us and we'll get our props then!

DS is only 2.5 so I don't think he'll get the difference, but I think we will say only one gift from us.

We have a Christmas Eve party. The boys will get pajamas and a book from Rob and I. Everything else is from Santa on Christmas morning.
And Santa went overboard. Way, way overboard.

Everything's from Santa...even the Christmas Eve PJ's that the Elf on the Shelf brings special from Santa so the boys can wake up in new clothes on Jesus' birthday

We usually only do a few gifts from us. Just to cover the bases in case she over hears something or whatever. This year we got her a big girl bed and since that will be too difficult to hide/put together, its going to be from us. Although now it won't be here until the 28th so even more reason its from us. And then there are a few little things that I got for my goddaughter as well so since she saw them, they will be from us.

My little man is only 17 months so he doesn't really know yet but growing up my main gift was from santa...like whatever i was really wanting..and then all the other little gifts were from my family..so i will probably do the same

Haha, we're completely out of the norm.
They're all from us
I didn't grow up believing Santa brought the gifts, so I'm not sure what I'd like to do with DS... that said, he's only 9 months old, so it doesn't really matter this year anyway.
I'm thinking for future years, one BIG gift will be from Santa and the rest from us.
