I still have no clue what we should do. I'm so confused by this.
We have a "big" gift for each girl from Santa that will be unwrapped under the tree when they wake up. But I’m still so lost as to who the others should be from…I’m guessing that while the kids are still young and believe in Santa, maybe I’ll do them all from Santa?

same here. I'm afraid if we split it up the gifts too many questions will be asked and they will figure "things" out so everything is from Santa

I actually posted about this because my friend is giving her son a gift from her and I have never heard of this.

my parents had always had given us one gift from them while the rest were from Santa.
how do you do it?
this is what my sitter does with her kids - they ask santa for one thing & that gift is from santa... i like that a lot - so that's what we'll do when Em is old enough to understand..

About half and half. I usually do the bigger ones from Santa and more of the games/little things from us.

We would get one big gift each from Mom and Dad (unless it was one really big thing for both my sister and I) , and the rest were from the Big Guy.
The big gifts were sometimes made by my dad, things like barbie house, toy box, little table/chairs so I am guessing maybe that is why they did it that way.

well DD will only be 7 weeks old so she willhave NO idea! lol But growing up my parents gave us there gifts x-mas eve night- pj's & a ortament- then x-mas day they were all from santa.

how do you do it?
This is how we do it. The one gift from us is opened on Christmas Eve along with all the gifts that friends and family send. Christmas morning is from Santa and the afternoon with DH's family is full of presents too including one last gift from Santa who comes to visit.

I realized yesterday that I put the bearded mans name on every gift. I figure they can't read so we'll just tell them one or two are from Mommy & Daddy.
Next year I'll make sure there are a few from Mommy & Daddy as well

One gift from us and the rest from Santa. We open family gifts on Christmas Eve and the rest get opened Christmas morning.

I was wondering the same thing. I'm Jewish and had no idea what people did. DH said that as a kid, all of his gifts were from Santa. DS told Santa he wanted trains for Christmas so I had the trains come from Santa. The other presents were going to come from us. Maybe I should pick a few more presents to come from Santa.
