How many outfits will baby wear IN the hospital?
I have the take home outfit all ready to go...
but will the baby wear any outfits while in hospital? Or just a diaper and the blanket? Should I bring little pj's? Or little day outfits?
I'm especially asking in case I have a c-section and we're there longer.
What do you think?

The hospital gives you t shirts to use they are swaddled most of the time anyway . I never brought outfits for the hospital just used what they have. Jmo

Zero. I didn't dress DS until the say he was going home in his take home outfit. They either leave them with nothing or their t-shirts and a diaper. And he was in NICU for 10 days. Its easier for them if they aren't dressed.

NONE.. bring just the coming home outfit.. no need for other clothes.. use what the hospital provides you

Guess I'm the oddball. She wore 2 outfits while in the hospital (I was too sick Day 1 to dress myself, let alone the baby) and then her take home outfit. I loved getting her all dressed everyday!!

The nurses actually prefer the baby to be in a tee and diaper only....It is much easier for all the frequent diaper changing, checking etc...

the hospital had DS in a long sleeve shirt, diaper and swaddled. i only put him in n outfit to take him home

wow really good question. I wouldn't have thought about bringing more outfits but I guess from what the other mommies say, we dont need them.

 had a teeshirt and diaper on for his entire stay. He was in the NICU and on an IV that whole time.

I brought like 5 or 6, just in case I want to put him in something else, the photographer comes to the hospital room so I wanted to make sure I had enough, will probably mostly use what they have an the swaddleme i bring.
