how many pillows do you have on your bed?

We have a ton of pillows on our bed, and DH is dying to toss some of them. They always end up on the floor at night since he sleeps with 1 or 2 pillows, and I sleep with 1 or none.

Right now we have 2 big euro shams, 5 regular pillows (I think) and one silk accent pillow.

I'm thinking maybe we should keep the euro shams and cut back to 2-3 regular pillows and keep the accent pillow?

How many pillows do you have on your bed? How many do you actually sleep with? What do you do with the ones you dont sleep with?

I sleep with 3 ( i have to hold one). DH sleeps with 2.

We have 2 Euros, 2 King feather pillows, 2 temperpedics, 2 king shams, and 3 accents.

Yikes. lol

we each sleep on 1 pillow and we have 2 decorative shams on the bed

so 4 pillows total

Too many

5 regular.

Two regular with our comforter material over them (decorative do not sleep on)

A long "husband pillow" (I think this is what is called) in our comforter's pattern.

A square pillow in our comforter's pattern.

And two white beaded with pearls (not real pearls) that I couldnt resist when Fortunoff's was closing

We have 8 sleeping pillow (4 each)
2 Shams
4 smaller decorative pillows (2 rectangles, 2 circles)


WAYYY TOOO many pillows for 1 queen bed!

my shams and decorative pillows are kept in the closet unless company is coming over. After the newlywed stage of our marriage passed I was over having the perfectly made bed every day, LOL. Now the bed gets made every day but without all the fluff.

on my made bed i have 2 euros, 2 reg pillows with decorative pillow cases, 2 reg pillows with reg pillow cases in same color scheme and 1 small decorative.

when I go to bed I take the decorative ones off the bed and keep them on the floor (the 2 euros the 2 with decorative cases and the one small one)

We sleep with the 2 reg pillows and I take 2 more reg pillows out from my closet each night. so 2 for each of us




why dont you take the euros and ect off your bed when you sleep and keep them on your bed when the bed is made

We sleep w/ one pillow each.

Decorative pillows.......we have a total of 5.

DH will just shove them all over to my side when he goes to bed before me. But I have a tall standing jewelry box.....and I pile them on top of that every nite.

I guess other places to put them would be a chair if there is one in your room, or a dresser?

Sometime DH sleeps with two, but the ones we don't sleep with we just put on the floor. lol

We actually sleep with 6 every night, 3 each. 2 king tempurpedics, 2 king feathers, and 2 standard size. When the bed is made there are 2 euro shams added to that and another standard pillow with a decorative sham.

We have 4 pillows total - and we sleep with all of them. I just put the shams on 2 of the pillows that are on top of the second pillow.

Personally - I'm not a huge fan of pillows all over the bed, nor do I have the patience each night to take them off and put them back on in the morning.

We have 2 body pillows, 4 king size pillows (2 with shams), 2 square toss pillows and 1 neck roll.

I sleep with one regular pillow and he sleeps with the body pillow and 1 regular pillow. The rest get tossed to the floor when we turn down the bed at night. I like the ritual of it though.. moving the blankets down, taking the pillows off - we talk as we do it - so it doesn't bother me at all. Plus it looks so pretty when it's all done up!

when the bed is made there are two shames, two regular pillows and 3 decorative pillows.

So 7 total when the bed is made.

2 decorative, 4 that we sleep with and 1 little roll neck decorative pillow.

eta: We just put them at the foot of the bed when we take them off.
