How many slices of deli meat do you put in a sandwich?
Silly question, but how many slices do you usually put in your sandwich. I usually put two slices and load with tomotoes, mustard and lettuce.
Also, Is two slices 2 oz? I need to keep track of my points and wante dto know if I should count that as 2 oz or need to count it as more?
TIA!

Re: How many slices of deli meat do you put in a sandwich?
I have a food scale, so I weigh it. I am not a big cold cuts person, but I recently bought deli sliced turkey that came prepackaged (not fresh sliced at a deli). And I remember that, according to the nutritional information, 4 slices = 1 point.
I would try to weigh it if you can, and then look up the point values, but if you are eating something lean and very thin-sliced (turkey, chicken, roast beef), 1 slice should be less than 1 pt. Salami or bologna or something more processed would be higher in points than a lean meat.

The best way to figure that out is to use a food scale. It really depends how thin it is sliced. I use 3 slices of thin sliced and it usually comes out to 1 pt.

it depends on how thick or thin the slices are cut. I get my turkey on the medium thin side and 2oz is about 2-3 slices.
