How many things will each of your children open christmas morning?
Each of mine are getting 3 main gifts and a few little things in their stockings.

This is DS's first Christmas - he is 3 months. Since he is too little to know anything about presents we are not getting anything.
Our families and friends will be getting him more than enough gifts.
Next year will be different - probably 2-3 presents from "Santa". DH & I both agree that there is no need to go overboard with presents since neither of us grew up with an abundance of gifts every year.

DD is only 4 months so i only got her 2 toys. i know she will be getting TONS of stuff from our families so i didn't go nuts. next year will be a different story.

We are setting up her kitchen and she has maybe 5 others smaller presents to open.

We have a 9 yr old, and 18 month old and a 5 month old. so needless to say the 9 year old can count. Her and our 18 month old are probably getting 15 main gifts each and the 5 month old about 10 gifts. We try to make it as even as possible. Mind you some of the "gifts" are clothes, books and shoes.

3yr old and almost 2 yr old (next week)
they will be getting about 15 each..but a bunch are stuff that we are rewrapping from last Christmas from their grandmother...she just got too many things and we decided to save it and spread them out over the course of 2010..but of course we never did that so we decided use it or lose it...HAHA
but maybe 8-10 are new from us!

Well, I ended up going a little overboard this year because although it's my DD's 3rd Xmas it's really like her first. This is the first year where she is so excited and has an awareness and understanding that Santa is coming and bringing her gifts. That being said, we got her 2 "big" gifts that are all built for her (train table and vanity set) and then she has probably around 30 gifts to open plus a filled up stocking of little gifts. I cannot wait for Xmas morning!!!!
Edit - My siblings and I always had a crazy amount of gifts on Xmas morning as a kids since it was really the only time my parents bought us toys aside from our bdays. It was awesome so as long as we have the money my DD and any future kids will probably have a lot of gifts to open from "Santa" every year.

a lot  It wasn't intentional, but I started with the Target clearance sale in August (?) and it just never ended.
Lots of arts & crafts, Trio sets, action figures (toy story, spiderman, batman, etc) ... only 1-2 BIG toys (jeep)

At home? They are getting two "big" gifts (big is a relative term) and whatever small things are in their stockings.
There is no telling how much stuff they will open at MIL's later that day

DD is 18 months old-
She got a few BIG gifts that will be put together already for her to see: Kitchen, Doll Carriage and then about 20 gifts to open.
We went OVERBOARD! But It is allw orth it!

Chelsea is 3 and AJ is 7 months.
This year she totally gets Santa and it is so much fun. I totally went overboard. I just kept buying so I don't know how many gifts we got her. 
AJ doesn't get it yet so I got him a few things.
I know my mother also went overboard this year so my house is going to look like a toy store.

I started off with 5 gifts, stocking stuffers and her bed and ended up with about 10 gifts, bed, and then some small extras justin bieber cd and 2 others, dvd room decor, etc. Our kids are getting spoiled this year. Thats what happens when you have to store in the attic and forget what you bought.

DS is 10 months old... and he's already trying to unwrap the ppresents under the tree LOL. We got him a bunch of little things, i think it's about 10 things total.

DS is 16 mos. He has 6 gifts and some stocking stuffers.
I know for a fact that Grandma bought WAY more gifts for him than Santa did, so we kept it small at home. Plus he has several aunts that bought him multiple gifts as well.

For DD who is 3-too many.
For DS who is 1, probably not enough but he just had a birthday and I just keep running out of ideas for him.
I always wanted to have an overwhelming Christmas for my kids-just crazy gifts under the tree when the wake up. I want that memory for them.

DD will be 1 yr and this is her first Christmas.
All her toys will be form Santa. She will be getting about 10 gifts - all different price ranges plus 4 little things in her stocking. Its worth about $300 but I bought everything on sale and it ended up costing about $165.
