Depends on the day, usually 2-3 times, but its known to happen that we call each other every half hour if we're trying to make plans for something and neither of us are very busy

I dont. In my one half hour prep, I actually prep. If I spoke on the phone with kids in my room, I could get fired on the spot.

Zero when I worked--I was a teacher. Zero now as a SAHM.
I like to save the conversation for the end of the day.

Usually 3 times a day...Always during lunch, and then usually morning and afternoon. Yesterday he called me once every hour to wish me happy anniversary and say he was thinking of me.  This morning my first call was to wish me happy day 1 of our fourth year together.
That is so sweet!
We talk once during lunch and then I call him when I am leaving work for th day (he leaves way after I do).

Unless something important comes up, never.
We rarely speak to one another during the day. My husband is a contractor so he's not a desk and most of the time doesn't hear his cell phone ring over the saws, nailguns and whatnot.

Almost never. DH doesn't have a typical office job, so he's not near a phone or computer much.
We only call each other if it's important or it's such a good story we can't wait until we get home !! Or if one of us has plans that night and won't be going straight home from work we might call each other to catch up.

we have busy jobs, so about 1-2 times a day - usually at lunch time and sometime in the afternoon before we head home.

We rarely talk during the day unless something is going on.
Ditto, usually he will call me in the morning to say hi and make sure everything is ok. Then I won't hear from him again till he gets home from work.

We work for the same company (different floors and jobs) but we talk constantly through email and phone calls and usually take lunch together.

I'm a SAHM, but my DH calls home 2-3 time a day to check in. Basically for the kids, to see how they are doing.
