How many weeks were you when you saw a heartbeat?
I have my first sono tomorrow and am curious if I'll be seeing one. Baby-gaga says so

How many weeks are you? I heard one at around 6 weeks (through internal sono).

i saw the teensiest flicker at 5W 5D (dr. did too) - but i saw a really good, strong HB at my next visit, which was 8 W

my doctor wouldn't do a sonogram at 6 weeks for both my pregnancys, she says sometimes you just can't see it that early and doesn't like to freak the patients out.

6w2d, but it was much stronger by 8 weeks.

6 weeks on the dot...at 5 weeks 2 days we only saw the yolk sac and fetal pole....
If you are only 5 weeks & 3 days then most likely you will not hear it....

I had an external sono around 8-9 weeks and we saw the heartbeat. We didnt hear it until 12 or 14 weeks with the doppler

Awesome to see your ticker up and that you're due on Christmas!!
I saw it at 7w2d but I'm sure we could have seen it sooner.

I went when I thought I was just over 6W and didn't see one. Was nervous and scared for another full week until he brought me back for a second and we saw it beating away.
Turned out, I was off in the dates and I was only 5W5D when we first went.
6 weeks is just on the cusp, so you might!! Good luck!

See I;m not sure exactly how many weeks i am-every site says something different. I got PG through IVF. Retrieval(which I would think would be "O" day was on 4/4/08. Transfer was on 4/7/08. I got a BFP on 4/14/08. When I use regular calculators I get due dates ranging from 12/25-12/27.

I SAW my baby's heartbeat at 5 Weeks 5 Days but I didn't get to HEAR it until I was 12 Weeks! Good Luck! 
Oh, and when I saw the heartbeat it was a vaginal ultrasound
