how much did your DC eat at 6 weeks?
My DS is a big eater. He is 6 weeks and 4 oz every 3 hours has become 4 oz every 2 1/2 hours. I'm wondering if I should give him more...
What do you think?

You can try to give him more, a baby won't overeat.
He is probably is going through a growth spurt though. FYI, my DS was eating that much at 6 weeks and he ate the same amount until he was four months old. Now, at almost 5, he eats 6oz if I am lucky.

My DS is 5 weeks and he also drinks 4oz every 2-3hrs.

i BF, but when I give a bottle, been giving jsut over 3. once tried 3.5, she didnt finish, and pumped milk is like gold. will probably offer 3.5 again soon

3 oz is probably fine. BF babies eat about 1 oz every hour on average. (Research studies have determined that the average baby eats 25 oz- the range is 19 to 30 oz) The quantity doesn't really change over time because it changes to suit the babies needs. The BM your body produces when your baby is 4 wks is different then when he is 4 months.
