How much do you feed your 3 week old?
My dd is eating 4 oz every 4 hours or so. She always eats it quickly and is looking for more. I just increased her to the four ounces last weekend and it seems so soon to increase her again. How do you decide when to add more food? DD weighs about 9 1/2 pounds.

I fed dd on demand. They told me when she left the hospital to only do one oz. she screamed the whole nite. The next day I started feeding on demand and everything was perfect.

I think that's fine and if she's not satisfied you can increase it. Sometimes they also go through growth spurts and eat like crazy for a few days and then it goes back to normal.

DD is now 4 1/2 weeks old, I think at the 3rd week she went through a growth spurt so I increased her to 4 oz and let her finish if she wants to, sometimes she devours the whole thng and other times she doesnt...I have stopped trying to figure her out
