How much do you tip your Sanitation guys?
Just wondering what is the average? I think we gave 25.00 last year but my friend told me they tip 20.00 per guy and they have 3, so she gives 60.00.
What are you giving?

Last year I gave them each a $20 giftcard for starbucks. Idk after all the responses I've read here (every time this subject comes up) I am leaning towards not giving them anything this year.

How much do you tip your Sanitation guys?
We are constantly doing work on our house and whenever we have massive amounts of debris they take all of it. They're also great about leaving all the cans how they found them. We give $15-20 per guy.

Nothing...they leave my garbage pail right in the road every garbage day had to buy 2 new garbage pails in a year because of it

Nothing. Nobody tips me for doing the job I am supposed to be doing, I don't believe they should be tipped just for doing their job.

nothing..
They don't even get out of their truck. They drive up, the arm comes out and grabs out bin, dumps it in the top, puts it back down, retracts and they move on. They are good at aiming that arm but really I couldn't give them something if I wanted to...
They come when I'm not home
They are FAST with that machine, I'd never make it to the sidewalk

when we have money I will give them $30 for three guys and a card. i didn't tip last year and don't plan on doing it this year because we simply don't have the cash.
