DS will be a year next week..he says
mama
dada
car
gaga
baba
kittycat
cat
duck
light
and he babbles and points up a storm..also if you ask him a question liek do you want nummies he will start like whining like he wants it LOL

DD just turned 1.
With meaning, she says hi, hey, dada, and mama (not as frequently as dada!).
She also says go and row, which she will say when we sing Rain Rain Go Away and Row, Row, Row Your Boat - but the meaning is shaky, so I don't necessarily consider it a "word."
She babbles constantly and has great intonation.

Every kid is so different. My 3 yr old - only had 5 words he used regularly (had lots of sounds/babble/mimic'ed sounds or words) at 18mos...less than 50 by 2 but then took off at 2. My little one is just 11 mos and has so many more sounds or words already. He says daddy, dada, mama, mommy, mimi, baba (bottle), ball, bat, bye, poop, ba (sheep sound), etc. I swear last night he said here you go when he handed me something - he did it a few times. I also thought I have been hearing thank you. I am in shock! Didn't know a kid could be so verbal at 11mos!

At 15 months my dd is saying the names of like 5 kids on the block but no other words yet! Kinda wierd?!?

DS is 14 months. He says Dada, Mama, Gee (Maggie, the dog), uhoh, dog, Mam (he calls my mom this), baby, good, hi.
He babbles A LOT and he understands everything now.

DS is 11 months and says dada, kitty, cheese it (he had some at daycare and apparently loves them), and this is. He has yet to say mama.

Noah will be 13 months and he doesnt say anything.
HE bables constantly and has a lot of intonations(sp?) that are correct .
We heard him say thank you once and never again.
He says dada and mama but not to use or correctly. He knows who we are. If we say Daddys home, he runs to the front door.
Im not worried b/c my nices didnt say any words at all till 18-20 months and now at 22 months she can say or repeat ANYTHING and knows what everything means.

Ds will be 1 next week and he just started saying Bird. He has been saying Dada/Daddy for a long time. This morning he said Eggs for the first time...dont know if I'll hear it again!!!
