How much money do you spend yearly on DC's clothes?
I feel like I've been spending so much the past few weeks between shopping for next year's winter clothes bc of the great sales, and shopping for this year's spring/summer stuff.
How much on average do you spend on DC's wardrobe?

I buy ahead so maybee 100 a season..but DC is only 13 months so we had a lot too form my shower

Wow!!! That's great!
I just spent $200 on next year's winter stuff and $250 on summer/spring.
Plus, I buy things throughout the year, so I'm thinking I probably will have spent $1500/yr on DS' clothes!!!
Does that sound like a lot?

Probably under $200.
But I have a good friend who sends me all of her DS' hand me downs and my mom is very generous with gifts for him.
Plus he is in sizes for a while, so he gets use out of his clothes.
This is why I don't like to buy ahead b/c I would still buy for the current year, so I wouldn't feel that I saved that much, you know?

Fortunitely for me I dont spend all that much....
My girlfriends and I have a nice hand me down chain going on...and for the first time in my life Im not at the top...
Ive had to buy almost nothing for Caden since the spring...
My eldest daughter gets a ton of stuff from her Aunt who is 24 and is a total clothes horse...
That leaves the twins...I just bought them a ton of stuff for next winter at Abercrombie..the stuff was really cheap b/c it was clearance...so they get to be in style and it doesnt cost mom an arm and a leg.

I am trying to be better, I buy on sale for nex year and I also wait to buy the new seasons clothes until they are out for a little while. I haven't bought any spring/summer stuff yet because I know it will be on sale soon enough.
But...I still tend to buy too many random, in-between things that I like

Me too. I am ridiculous and fully admit it. I hardly buy anything for myself anymore - it's all for DD!
And I don't keep track of how much I spend on her. If I can afford it, i buy it. I have gotten a lot better and wait for sales and always try to use coupons. There is some stuff at the gap that i am dying to buy but I am holding out

he really bad thing is that I forget what I buy. Last week I bought her a bunch of clothes for spring and when I put them away I found another outfit that I bought the week before... totally forgot it was in there. I keep saying "she needs Spring clothes" and I keep buying them...and now I have coupons burning a hole in my pocket.
I don't shop for myself anymore.

I spent $334 yesteday for Spring clothes (for twins) at Gymboree...but that was with an amazing sale going on, and a coupon 20%off......I know I saved $220....but it's still alot. As long as my boys look cute I don't care

a lot.... in clothing probably like $250-300 per season... and shoes- probably the same or more- but more in winter 'cause those shoes are more expensive...

I've been lucky and had hand me downs in the past but they've seemd to stop. I think I'm going to check out the thrift store in Sayville.
