How much weight did you lose during labor?

I know this is SO unimportant in the grand scheme of things, but I am wondering how much weight everyone lost during labor. There is the weight of the baby but all the other stuff weighs a lot too.

I lost 17 lbs (the day after birth) with my first and I didn't weigh myself with my second untill she was one month old and by then I had lost all the baby weight from her.

No idea, I didn't weigh myself in the hospital... I think the first time I weighed myself was at my 6 week PP visit.

not nearly as much as I wanted. I didn't weigh myself in the hospital but I would say about 20lbs and Jack was 9lbs 11 oz of it! I know for sure I was down a total of 30lbs by 3-4 weeks.

unfortunately....I've been stuck there. I need to get a job! Sitting on my butt and reading LIF has done nothing for said butt's size

I also look at it like....it took 9 months to put it on, I need to give myself 9 months to take it off!

2 weeks after delivering, I was 10 pounds over my pp weight. I gained about 35 pounds altogether so I guess I lost about 25 pounds.
Even now, though, I think I weigh a little less than I did pp but the weight is distributed differently. My butt and thighs are a little bit smaller but now I have a belly that I never had.

I weighed myself after I got home and lost 20 pounds just from delivering. So far I have lost 27 lbs and still have about 10 to go to be the weight I was before.

Probably about 20 lbs...the first few days I swelled up bad but then lost like 25 lbs pretty quickly (within a week or so). The next 10 came off gradually and I have like 5ish to go back to pp (so not a priority though)

about 20 lbs. Now 9 weeks later I have 8 more pounds to go to get to prepreggo weight...

I can't believe you lose that much during labor. I know my best friend said she lost 20 the first week but in the first day or so is almost amazing!

not much, I think I came home weighing 10-12lbs less. I expected to lose more initially.

but I can't complain since I got back to my pre-preggo weight easily.

When I left the hospital I lost what my baby weighed, almost 10lbs. But about 2-3 weeks later I lost about 20lbs.

I lost 10 lbs by the time i came home from the hospital.

I lost a total 35 by the time DD was 2 months old.

I gained 50+ lbs.

You guys are going to think I'm crazy but...right after I gave birth...maybe 2 or 3 hours later (neurotic I know) I weighed myself and I actually was a couple of pounds heavier.

I was in total shock and very upset....but it was all water....water from being on an IV for a day...

It took me about a week to loose all the weight ( only gained 23 lbs)

I gained 50

I came home 8lbs less ( my DS was 7-12- so it really was just the weight of the baby and placenta)

After 2 weeks I was down 30lbs

16 months later- Im still carrying those last 20lbs

I could not honestly tell you....... i wasn't even thinking aout how much I weighed the day after I gave birth...... I would hope that no one would realy thinking about that at that point

I gained 47 lbs, at my 1 week post op (c/s) I had already lost 33 lbs. I was preggo in the summer and had a ton of water weight. I BF for a month and when I stopped I put back on some weight.... dont worry, it will come off. I am much "fluffier" now and I was a little fluffy to begin with, but honestly, she is so worth it we could care less!

ETA: Sydney weighted 9lb10oz so that was a nice chunk right there. I also agree with Debbie, 9 months on 9 months off.

I didn't weigh myself till 4 days later and I lost 25lbs

At 11 weeks pp, I still have not weighed myself. I'm just afraid of what I am going to see

I lost 17 lbs. in the hospital. Overall I had gained 65.

Absolutely nothing! I retained a lot of fluid during and immediately after labor. It took about 2weeks for the swelling to go away and all of a sudden I was 30lbs lighter

I gained 32lbs and at my 1 week dr. appt. I was down about 12lbs.
I weighed myself at home again last week and was down I think another 2 or 3 lbs.

I weighed myself a few days later and I lost all 25 pounds that i gained.

right after, I have no idea...I was so preoccupied. I was down 30lbs in 3 weeks and now at 3.5 months I am 5 lbs below my pre preggo weight.
