How much will this ticket cost me?

I pretty sure my picture was taken yesterday going through a red light. I was driving on Linden Blvd in Brooklyn and just didnt think I could stop in time without getting rear-ended. And as I went through the intersection, I saw the flash of the camera.
I was on the way to see my dad in the hospital too...when it rains, it pours!
Any ideas of what this will cost?

I got caught about 10 years ago, and it was around $100. I don't remember the exact cost. They sent me the ticket with photographs of my car that showed that the front wheels went over the crosswalk 0.8 seconds after the light had turned red. The camera DEFINITELY didn't have a flash though; I don't know of any camera points that do.

And who knows - if it was a camera point, maybe the camera wasn't taking pics that time of day, or your license plate # will come out fuzzy and hard to read.

Okay, I just checked the Red Light Camera database.

The fine is $50 for Brooklyn.

There are 2 cameras on Linden Blvd. One at Linden and Bedford, and one at Linden and Fountain. They're both always on, but the one on Linden and Fountain only faces west towards Fountain.

yes it's $50, and the ticket gets mailed to the registered owner of the vehicle, since they can't determine who is driving, they just take a pic of the license plate

And it won't go down as a moving violation with points- since they can't prove it was YOU driving.

Wait and see what happens! There are times I REALLY thought I was gonna get a ticket, saw the flash and all... and then didn't get it!!

Ugh that stinks!!!

Whenever i go through an intersection with a camera I go very slow, practically stop because I am so scared to get a ticket, I will probably end up in an accident because of it

I am just so paranoid about getting a ticket

Thanks everyone! I was thinking a few hundred dollars...$50, I'll pay that. I saw the flash at Linden Blvd and Pennsylvania but it was facing the east bound traffic and when I saw the flash I was heading west. Maybe it was just a scare thing rather than the real deal. But next time I head in, I'll be sure to be a bit more cautious.
I guess I'll find out in a few days.
