How much would you spend on a shower gift...
...if you cannot attend and the person was more of an acquaintance? Not family or a close friend. Would you spend more if you had coupons or rewards? Thanks!

I'd probably spend about $50-
Coupons and or rewards don't really make a difference in what i spend usually. I like to bargain shop so usually i can make up a really cool basket filled with lots of stuff for about 50.

I would like to make a basket but I cannot attend and I know no one else that can take it to the party. I need to send the gift instead.
I was planning on getting their play mat, which is around $55 but I was going to use a coupon too. Do you think that's cheesy? Should I spend more?
