How often do u use the internet on your phone?
I need to get a new phone. DH and I currently have a plan w/ unlimited texted but limited data (the texting/ data = $10 a month per line).
Most phones require the $30 unlimited texting/ data a month.
Do you think the additional $40 a month is worth it? If I do it, I'll be spending $110 a month on internet ($50 for our house and $30 per phone X 2 phones), which seems like a lot.
Do u really use the internet on your phone a lot?

Me too (not an iphone but a droid) . . .I use it way too much.

Ditto. I don't really text but I have the unlimited data plan for the driod and love it. I think you unfortunately are asking this question a week to late as Verizon stopped its unlimited data plan for new subscribers on 7/7/11 and ATT did the same in June. I would see what your options are now... sorry.

It has been exactly two months since i got my iphone. Before it, I only had a texting plan and NEVER used the internet. Now, I am on the internet all the time. I am obsessed with the radar app that I have (duh, imagine me without the weather) and a few other apps. Sometimes waiting in line I am able to check my email, etc. Its all good! Checking it for 5 minutes here and there helps me throughout the day, especially as I am switching jobs and have clients contacting me 7 days per week.

I dont use it much at all on the phone. We got the 10 limited plan with tmobile when we got the androids. DH uses it alot b/c he commutes on the train.
Im either at work or home and work 2 min from home,so i use the work computer or home computer. I dont really use the internet on my phone.

Constantly. I have a horrible, very old laptop, so at home I use my phone or the iPad.

Same here!! I think this is like any other technology. Whenever I forget my phone, I ask myself how did I go through life without this thing for so long. Before we had them, we didn't know what we were missing
You'll probably be fine without it, but once you get it, you'll be addicted like the rest of us

I use it for email more than anything....but I probably use the internet on it daily. DH doesn't have a smart phone but that's b/c he doesn't really use the internet that much, well not as much as me, his main email is work which he can only use at work computer's....I guess its a personal choice

this is true. Which is why I went and bought my phone on July 5th and not when the new iphone comes out in September...
