We go out once or twice a month. At least once a month we'll watch a movie at home, have some wine and snacks, and that makes a nice little date night too

Every other Sat. night. We rotate between my parents, my in laws and my BFF so we never feel like we are using one person to much.

Im going on a long shot here and if your talking about just dh and I for dinner like an actual date...2x (birthdays or anniversary)
usual type date would be costco or maybe looking at an open house without dd
that was a few times a year but now that we moved & have no family around its a big fat 0

When we lived on LI, once or twice a month. Now that we are in Canada, we've only gone out twice in six months when family was here visiting and offered to watch the kids. We miss going out sooooo much.
I'm incredibly excited though, we actually have a babysitter coming over tonight to meet the kids and we plan on using her once a month!

We are pretty luck....my ILs moved to NC with us. We try to date about 1x a month. We try to "stay-cation" about ever few months!

My parents will watch the kids about 1x per month overnight so we can do something.
However it is mostly because we have something to go to..ie bday party etc. We rarely just go out to dinner by ourselves.

We have gone out 2x by ourselves and 2x w/ other people since the baby (she's 10 months). My mom watches her all week so I feel bad asking her for "date nights". We do have a lady that we can hire but it gets expensive--$10 an hour--so we don't want to go out too much. We are getting a date night though later this month. My parents and the 3 of us are going to Mohegan and they are going to watch the baby while we go out for dinner!! 
Oh and we have a Bat Mitvah next month, baby was invited, we said No Thanks!

I would love to find someone but it's so hard to find someone that I'd trust with my DD and in my home too....
My "outside" babysitter is my mother's cousin's daughter (so I guess that makes her my third cousin?). She's 17, she drives and she's super awesome and mature. She's been watching my DS since he was 6 weeks old. If she can't do it, I have asked if she has friends available. I also run the referred friend past her mother to ensure it's a good kid. But I grew up with babysitters and had tons of them (my parents were young and party animals). I loved having sitters so I'm comfortable with the idea of a teenaged babysitter for DS. She lives in Massapequa so if you live nearby and are looking, let me know. She's looking for some gigs before she heads to college in the fall.
To the OP, probably once a month or less.

My DS is 8 months and we have never officially gone on a date night. My DH and I each go out with our friends on a somewhat regular basis though. Especially my DH as he going to many games and concerts! We have gone out to dinner with other couples, weddings, and other parties at night but never alone! We used to go to a restaurant at least once every weekend and sometimes twice so it is so crazy that we have never gone. My DH refuses to bring DS to a restaurant, even for lunch or breakfast. We are saving a lot of money this way at least!!!!!

About every other week. It's a must for us!! We have a few babysitters we use (found through mutual friends who recommended them) and once in a while we drop the kids at my moms in NY and head into NYC for a night. Or she will come to MD and we get out here...
I always look forward to date nights!!

love date nights! but we dont do it as often as we did before DS was born. When we only had DD, we would go probably 2x a month? She was a great sleeper and would spend the night at my moms and it was no problem at all. Now DS isnt the best sleeper (although he finally sttn..he wakes up super early) so I dont want to make my mom deal with bad sleep. Anyway, we have only been out a couple of times since he was born 8 months ago. Hopefully we will try to get out more if he starts sleeping longer in the morning.

1 kid= quite a bit.
2 kids= haven't had one yet but ds#2 is only 10 weeks old. Maybe in another month or two we'll start getting out.

Well our main 1 lives in our building and we have forum you can post on and she put an add out. Of course I did my research and checks and everything very thoroughly. Love her and so DD. She's in law school and looking for jobs, in this market haha.
I did find another one on Sittercity. Again checks and references and she was good as well but I have to book her weeks in advance and she's not available a lot of the time so I haven't called her in a while. She was super nice but had too much going on. I guess.
I have to say that having her has changed me and my attitude and dh and I relationship. We were in a rut and moving a lot. We moved back to our house in CT for a few months than we had to leave again and start fresh in Boston. Not knowing a single person. I have since made some friends but just dh and I going out has truly been great. DD is so great for her and shes great with dd.

a few times a year, and usually only for a special event not just because. it is hard to get babysitting for 3 kids. my mom watches them 1 night a week for me to work and my IL's are 45 minutes away.
