Until I was recently put on Synthroid, I would never take anything. The only exceptions was Exedrine Migraine when it was so bad that even a nap wouldn't fix it.

I take Solodyn - it's an antibiotic for acne. I have to take it everyday for 30 days. Other than that I pop a Xanyx (only about 2 pills per month) when I feel the need.

Ditto...i have a feeling there is one in my future today as I'm home sick. I hate taking antibiotics though. Now, if you ask me how often I take OTC stuff, that's another story. Advil and I are good friends.

birth control every day, allergy meds as needed
ETA: i will only take antibiotics for a cold if the doctor tells me i have an actual infection (strep, whatever) - i won't take them if i just don't feel well. i don't even bother going to the doctor.

My prenatal vitamin is prescription. Other than that, only when totally necessary.

EVery freakin day. So annoying. I take xyzal (allergy pill) in the morning with two different nasal sprays (astelin and veramist) my BC
Then at night I take singulair, veramist and astelin.
I'm tired of taking this stuff but without it my allergies go haywire!!!

If you asked me a few months ago, it would have been every day ... I had a heck of a year with herniated discs and then before I was fully recovered from that, a torn rotator cuff which led to surgery. 
Soooooo happy to say that now my answer is rarely!

It's for a chronic condition but I only take it when I flare.

I just mentioned this to my husband yesterday....
I take 7 pills a day plus one inhaler (Advair) daily! 6 pills are prescription, 1 is the CVS version of Claritan.
My RX bills are $$$!!!

Antibiotics...almost never. I prefer to let things run their course.
I was just diagnosed with Hashimoto's so Ive started thyroid meds...
Before that I was taking Zoloft and Wellbutrin...although I think that may be able to be phased out now that we know the problem was my thyroid.

I can't remember the last time I got a Rx filled.... for me. I think it was after a surgical procedure, so that's about it for me.

I take BC pills and an allergy pill daily. I hate having to take the allergy pill but I have no choice...i end up with sinus infections if I don't. I also now take a anti-inflamatory antibiotic daily...i have to take it for a year to control a newly discovered situation I have going on.
