Water every other day for about an hour.
Organic fertilizer every two weeks.
I don't use chemicals (see my cutworm post), but I do have a batbox and birdfeeder near the garden. I'm also thinking of getting praying mantis and/or ladybugs this year.

Water every night (except tonight! It's pouring out Chat Icon )

Organic fertilizer whenever I remember to do it.

I just had aphids on my eggplants so i got the ladybugs, you put them in the fridge till dusk then put them on the affected plant (and others if you want - I did) It is truly amazing! 1200 ladybugs in my garden at dusk - next morning only 1 lady bug and not a single aphid! Well worth the $12.

I water everyday for about 20 minutes-I have a zone on my inground spriklers just for my veggies. when its gets hotter I'll water certain stuff lightly by hand a second time each day.

I don 't use any chemicals, my soil is mostly compost to I don't need much fertilizer, but I do use organic fish emulsion & worm poop(terra-cycle) and bunny manure from my rabbit
as my only fertilizers.

I do not use chemical pesticides. I released 1500 ladybugs into my garden over the last two weeks. I also hand pick pest bugs sometimes in the evening & I encourage benefical bugs by companion gardening. I have bidhouses & a good bird habitat so they help too. My chickens go in the garden at dusk & help with bug patrol.
I use organic store bought things like slugs traps , sticky aphid traps.
