How often does/did your 3 month old poop?

We just switched to formula last week, he is still getting some breastmilk everyday & he is pooping less and less.

He hasn't gone in almost 2 days, but doesn't seem to be uncomfortable or bothered by it. Should I call the ped or be concerned?

My DS goes once a day. If he doesn't, he's extremely cranky.

It is normal though to go a few days in between poops.

Before my DD started solids around 4 months, she was only pooping about once every 3-4 days. She was never uncomfortable and I called the ped several times when she stretched that even longer! Once she didnt go for 5 days! He said some babies just have slow bowels and since she was always like that from the time she was a newborn and didnt seem to be in any discomfort that it was normal for her. I would call your ped just for peace of mind and to make sure he/she is of the same mind as mine. But I just wanted to let you know that I was nervous too and it turned out to be just the way she was at that age. Now she goes like 3 times a day!
