Ooh I'd be annoyed, too! Having scheduling conflicts is one thing but to fail to respond period is another entirely! DD was 2 weeks and 1 day exactly.

Oh ok thanks. I remember another photographer telling me they are most sleepy the week they are born & easiest to shoot but maybe I have some time afterall. He is a week now.

Yeah, we had wanted to do it the week before, but wound up being unable. It was no big deal- she was still fine. It took a little longer, but the photographer got tons of great shots!

I think DS was around a week old and DD was younger. They recommend doing it no later than 10 days after birth.

DD was at least a week old pretty sure a little older but that was because she was in NICU for a short period of time. I would be pissed if I got no response though. I kept my photographer up to date on what was going on and got a response each time.

Just under 2 weeks. The photographer we used told is they didn't like to do it past 2 weeks.

She was about a week old I want to say?
I emailed the photographer the day after she was born- she got right back to me and we scheduled a day for the following week

Dd was 2 weeks old and awake the entire time... it was a mess. I would aim for the first week and no more than 10 days.

I had DD3's at 12 days. My other 2 were also close to 2 weeks.
I didn't see the original post, but got the idea - I have a photographer I've used for a mini shoot and will be using again, but one of the reasons I didn't use them for newborns is they aren't responsive.

DD was like a week and DS was a little over 2 weeks i think (he was really jaundice so we wanted it to get out of his system otherwise he'd have been super yellow)

Mine was 5 days old. It was "penciled in" based on my due date and then adjusted. He used portable heaters and hair dryers to keep my daughter warm and sleepy.
