how soon after birth do babies get baptized?
Our baby is due May 10, I'm thinking July sometime?

I agree that it is a personal chioce. I have generally seen people do it at around 10-12 weeks or so, which is what I guess we will probably do as well. Although my Goddaughter was born in May and baptized in November...it's really up to you.

We need to find a church still  so we still need to plan it, but we are due in the end of march and planning to do the christening in the early summer.

I would say 3 months or so. Depends on your church and their schedules as well. I know our church does not do Baptisms during Lent or during any other special holidays.

Personal choice.
My first was 5mths, this one will be 4mths. Our SIL/BIL is waiting a year. Our god child was 11mths. a friend did it 3 weeks after... It all depends on what you want and your beliefs are.

our ds was 6 months... and I am happy we did it when he was older... he was interested in everything that was going on around while other smaller babies cried constantly...
