how the heck did you get your 2 year old to sleep in a big boy bed??
I have no clue how this will work, we tried it a few times and he just will NOT stay in the bed. He now climbs out of his crib, even with the mattress on the floor. He is an animal. I am scared to leave him alone bc i dont want him walking the house at night. A gate is useless, he climbs over it. Please help!

I havent yet. This is why at almost 3, he is still in his crib....will keep the crib thing as long as i can....crib tent for you?

Can you close his door? DS got out of bed when we first tried the big boy bed, but he just stopped after a few days. We do keep his door closed, but when we get him in the morning, he's up but stays in his bed. In the beginning he was up playing in his room.

we lead him back to him bed and lay with him. Lately I have been tired and put up a gate on his door. The gate is high and impossible for him to climb over. He calls for me but if I don't come right away he gives up and goes back to bed.

We did this.
But i will add she rarely slept IN her bed for months. She preferred to sleep on the floor on top of pillows. Go figure. Then one day decided the bed was the place to be. *shrug*. Even if she started in bed, she'd end up on the floor.
However, we spoil her rotten. She didn't go to SLEEP in her bed, she'd sleep in the living room on her piled high nap area. Then we'd move her. Over time she asked us to go to bed with her and sleep on the floor with her, then sleep next to the bed and finally she just asks us to sit and read her a story then we can leave.
I miss holding my sleeping baby  But she kepts growing up on me.

He knows how to open the door. He climbs everytjing. Hes an animal.
