How to travel with a 4 month old?
im on the fence about how to travel to my brothers in NC for Thanksgiving. it would be just me and DD going down. DH unfortunately has to work. DD will be 4 months old.
i can fly for super cheap if i book tickets now. (i dont really like to fly but do it because its only an hour and 10 min tops fast on the way home due to tail winds) im scared to fly with dd for the frist time alone.
OR
My parents will most likely be going down as well and will be driving they have offered to take us with them so we dont have to fly. but im nervous about having her in the car for 12 hours.
Please help me should i fly and get it over with faster? or should i drive with my parents?.. anyone that can offer some advice or share their travel experience id greatly appreicaite it.. i have no idea what to do but i need to book the flight with int the next couple of weeks if im going to fly so i get the cheap rates!

I hate the idea of being stuck in the car. I think I would rather be stuck for an hour in a plane, than in a car for hours.

That's a tough one.
I think flying would be good since it's so much faster, but I HATE all the delays and numerous annoyances that come w/ flying. And doing it alone, I dunno... 
Driving will be loooong, but since you can go with your parents, I think that's a HUGE plus. I assume you'd make many stops along the way.
Hmm ... sorry, I'm not being very helpful, I can totally see your dilemma!!

Something else to consider with flying - and maybe this is paranoid of me, but I do think it's something to consider - are the germs on a plane, *especially* around Thanksgiving, which is huge flu season.

i would, without question DRIVE...but dave & I are huge road trip people...
we're going on a road trip tomorrow - but it's only 6 hours. when i get back - i will be more than happy to let you know how it went...
