Re: How would you respond to this?

Was she joking? I can only even see that being said as a joke.

Tell her that you can't plan around her because her engagement and marriage may not last that long.

Oh Gina, I could have used you like a half hour ago for a witty response. It would have saved me a lot of time and energy from being so annoyed.

Re: How would you respond to this?

god, some people really do think the world revolves around them...especially brides.

I would tell her that while you have no intention of taking any focus off of her and her "special day". You can not and will not plan your life choices around anybody else's schedule but that of you and your family.

Re: How would you respond to this?

I don't know that responding to her would make any sort of difference, self centered people just don't give a hoot. Pretend to look confused and ask her how do you control that.

Re: How would you respond to this?

I would probably respond with a sarcastic tone and say, "sure, I will plan my major life events around yours".

How would you respond to this?

I think it's ridiculous for people to think that way

Re: How would you respond to this?

For real???!! I would've said "Sorry, but I have no intention of scheduling my life around yours". What a bridezilla..........and she's barely engaged. Chat Icon That is some serious balls, some people are just unbelievable.

If it were me, I would now make it my mission to get pregnant ASAP and then every time she starts talking about her wedding, I'd interject and start talking about my pregnancy. Chat Icon Chat Icon

I was just going to say..what's up with people thinking it's ok to dictate what's going on with other people..if she doesn't want you in the bp, she can come up with a better reason Chat Icon

Re: How would you respond to this?

I would let her know that she should reschedule her wedding if you are so pregnant that she is worried. She has made her insecurity your problem. No bueno.

That is so sick. I'd tell her that that's really unreasonable, and if she doesn't believe you, she should ask anyone/everyone.

Let her reveal to the people in her life what she is and what she is about.

Tell her that since you're not helping plan her wedding she can't help you plan the occupancy of your uterus.

Re: How would you respond to this?

My little sister told me a couple years ago I couldn't be pregnant when she got married because she didn't want me to be fat at her wedding. She sort of meant it jokingly but also didn't because she can be a brat. I ignored her. As it turns out I am having my baby 6 months before her wedding so I may STILL be fat. Some things require a witty response and some things are best ignored. IF she brings it up again I would then make a point of saying that your life does not in any way revolve around hers, and if you are blessed enough to become pregnant again and it coincides with her wedding you would be happy to stay home if she would prefer.

Or....go to her wedding and announce your pregnancy there Chat Icon

Re: How would you respond to this?

I would chalk it up to a very silly comment and just ignore it. If you get pregnant you get pregnant :) None of her business when or if it happens.

I would tell her yes. Yes, you ARE planning on getting pregnant in January and will be VERY pregnant when SHE gets married.
