I beleive that you can teach children as early as pre-school the joys of giving back to someone less fortunate. I think this is an emencely possitve message to send to our little ones that will carry though into adulthood.

First Class at EAB childcare center in Uniondale NY, had a very cute idea. A new twist on "Bring your child to work day" the center is hosting a "Bring your parent to Daycare day" in which children will invite their parents to help organize a community clothing drive to benefit children in need of spring and summer clothing.

Beginning Monday, April 20, 2009, the children will collect gently used children’s clothing to make a generous donation on Sunday, May 3rd.
Parents and children not enrolled in the center are also invited and asked to bring clothing for the drive.

I advise everyone to come and check out the center, give a great example for your children, and help out a worthy cause!
