HR People-Q for you...When Unemployment sends a Company a letter...
Question. When someone is let go and NYS sends a letter to the company about the person applying for unemployment...What do you guys have to do with the letter if you are not contesting it? Does a company have to send something back if it isn't being contested?

The company needs to fill in the dates of employement, some salary history, etc.

Normally the company doesn't need to respond to the notice if they are not contesting it.
