Human Resources jobs
I'm looking for jobs in HR. I have never worked in HR. I currently work in a school as an Administrative Assistant to two Division Heads. I have been at the school five years. Before this I was a executive assistant to a president, cfo and coo at an educational company.
Any help would be great.

Your best bet would be to look for HR Assistant type jobs. This way you can learn as you go. That's how I started and then gradually moved up to Recruiting, Employee Relations, etc. I don't work in HR anymore (now I coordinate training) but it's better to learn from the ground up unless you can get in to some sort of corporate training program. Check www.indeed.com and www.shrm.org.

I agree with CaseyGirl. I started out in HR with no experience and followed a similar path... Coordinator, Recruiting, Generalist, Employee Relations.
Check out shrmli.org for local positions and see if you can attend a meeting to do some networking. Good luck!
