I'm also a MS Eng. teacher. I love, love, love literature that my students are reading.
The Hunger Games triology is by far one of the BEST series I have read in a long time.
It's amazing how the basis of this book in relation to the gladiators actually happened.

My book club recommended it to me & I was able to purchase the entire series on Nook for $17 in August. Thought it was a great buy & jumped at the opportunity.
Unfortunately book club has been so busy that I haven't had extra time to read any of it.
