Oh Jenn....I am so sorry about all this. Like some of the other posters said it reawlly does sound like he is in good hands and he will be just fine. I will definitely be praying for him. Please please please if you need anything...we are all here for you

My co-worker's daughter went through surgery & has a metal plate in her head. She's also had numerous CAT scans & MRIs...not sure who the surgeon is but she has nothing but the best things to say about Dr. Mittler (spelling?). He's been treating her daughter since she was 3 months old. She's now thriving in elementary school.

My heart breaks for you. for your son.

My DS had two heart surgeries when he was a newborn. I couldn't stop crying either. I hope your son's surgeries are successful. It was a rough couple of months for us but now DS is a totally normal happy healthy kid.

I am hearbroken for you but will pray pary pary that everthing will turn out just fine and your baby come out of this stronger then ever .

Also,some docs just never reassure..this could just be his personality.try not to let it scare you...I, like you always need that reassurace too

BMonster was an amazing tower of strength when Ethan has his head reconsructive surgery (whether she knows it or not). She would be a great person to speak to on this.
