Huntington Medical Group?

Does anyone use the drs in the Huntington Medical Group as their OBGYN? When I was preg with my first baby, I went to Dr. Wagner's office in Huntingtion, but I just found out that one of my favorite drs there moved to the Huntington Medical Group.

I'm curious to hear opinions. Also, other recommendations in the area would be great! TIA!

They had a big following years ago when I worked there. I liked it there but wasn't a patient of their docs. They were always busy too.

I used to see the NP there and I loved her but something happened that left a bad taste in my mouth and I switched offices. That said, I heard Dr Singer is great.

Ive heard good things about their doctors...they also have an OB office in Commack. My girlfriend used to use Dr Siegel. Dr Kramer, the Chief of OBGYN at Huntington, just moved over there.

Re: Huntington Medical Group?

I went to them years ago and used a doctor who I believe to be retired and gone now anyway. However, she turned out to be such a total ***** that I do not think I would go back to that practice ever. She had been my doctor for years but she yelled at me for having fibroids and for needing an operation after she had stopped doing surgery (well, I think that was why). I had only known of my condition for a day and to have a doctor yell at me??!!! I have a very bad memory of that place. I have friends who have used that practice and were happy but I cannot forget the way I was treated and as far as I am concerned, that doctor was representing her group when she spoke to me. I know that some people disagree, as this doctor is probably not there now and that practice has some well respected doctors.

Re: Huntington Medical Group?

I go to Dr. Singer also. She is not to warm and fuzzy, and I feel like she dismisses me sometimes, but I must say I never wait long at the Huntington Medical Group for any doctors. This is a big plus for me. For Dr. Singer you need to have an AM appt. otherwise if you go in the afternoon you can wait longer (maybe 45 minutes) but not nearly as long as I've waited in other places.

Re: Huntington Medical Group?

Thanks, everyone. Do they do the sonos and blood work in the office or do you have to go out for that?

All my bloodwork was done downstairs in the quest lab.

The first sono I had done in radiology in the same building.
I had my level II done at Madonna
I had all my growth scans and bio fetal physicals done at Women's Health Center at huntington hospital.

I use the ped office and love the pharmacy in the building...my prescriptions are usually done within 5 minutes.

Re: Huntington Medical Group?

I just switched there when Dr. Kramer moved there. I couldn't believe how big it was!! And they have valet parking! Chat Icon Needless to say, I plan on seeing Dr. Kramer only- I have known him for years and my next pregnancy will be a scheduled c-section.
