Huntington Town House??
Does anyone know what is going on with that land already? They are parking School Buses there now and it looks like a soar thumb (Not that it did not already)!
I am ready to call the town and start flipping out

I hear you. We live in that area and it looks horrible. I had heard a Lowes was going there but that was a while ago.

They have a 1 year contract to park the school busses in that lot. I am not sure when the demo of the building is going to begin

I read a while back that they were going to make luxury condos there...but that was pre-housing market mess....so not sure

So interesting you asked this today...I am never out that way and I just passed there yesterday and noticed the school buses and thought to myself - gheez this has been empty forever already.

The Town did not give approve the condo proposal.

I have to comment that it has been empty for a long time now but in a way it just amazed me how quickly a place can deteriorate. The landscaping started to look awful within the first month or two after they stopped caring for it. It really shows how properties need constant good care.

Loews is still trying to come in - I am not sure if it has been approved or not. There was a big town meeting about it a month or 2 ago.
