So far DH's family who are in brevard and chose to stay are ok. Not too much damage so far.
Still ok. Sil who lives in viera (Melbourne) said they didn't lose power or sustain any damage!

Re: Hurricane Matthew
We are currently in Florida staying near Disney. It's pretty well over now. Had heavy winds and a lot of rain. Have a good friend in Melbourne and talked to her recently. She said it was pretty well passed there. She still had power. Had a little damage to trees and bushes, but thankfully nothing major. They are not on the water and stuck it out there. Her daughter is in a condo on the water, and she evacuated to Orlando and won't go back til tomorrow. They won't know til then if her place sustained any damage.

That's the same for my mom. She never lost power and only damage was landscaping - thankfully.

Re: Hurricane Matthew
My aunt and uncle live across a1a from the ocean in Palm Coast...we've heard there was a significant storm surges in that area...they evacuated and the beachfront area are completely closed off still, but I know they aren't sure what they will be going back to.
