Lots of bathing suits
Not too much clothing for during the day- you will spend most of the day in your bathing suit! The first cruise we went on I had so many changes of clothes I brought a lot back clean!
Dressy clothes for dinner
Sea-bands
Bottled water- its expensive on the boat!
Camera
If you are in an interior room, a night light... we got one with an air freshener as well
Alarm clock
A water wallet to hold your IDs, $, etc
After sun lotion
Suntan lotion or sunblock
I'll keep thinking!

For a 4 day cruise I had 4 suitcases. I tend to way over pack.

Just went on one. How about a plastic money holder if you go on any water excursions. Digital camera. Formal dresses (I forgot the formal shoes). A bag for day trips.

Cruised last year and going again next year - things I would definitely bring on the second trip
"Regular" plug extension cord for my own hair dryer (ship's was a little weak and rfi plug didnt fit into outlet)
Colapsable cooler and ziplocks for excursions (ziplocks double to make a sandwich at the buffet in the am and then for souveniers on the way back)
Cover up for the dining room - they wouldn't let me in with a tank top.
Did see it listed but definitely bring an alarm clock. Ships are on military time and can be a little tricky to set the alarm. Just picked up a cheap atomic travel clock at Target for my next trip since we'll be changing time zones.
As far as the underwater cameras go - if you plan on taking a lot of pictures you might want to pick up the new Olympus camera that's waterproof.
Definitely check cruisecritic.com for the reviews on the cruise your taking. They definitely gave me a lot of tips when I went on what to bring and not bring.
