DD has a bunch of Gymboree swimsuits that say they have a built-in diaper, and you can definitely feel a plastic-type feel to them.
Do I still put a swim diaper under it? I'm so confused. I have been, but the bathing suits are so tight with them on. Am I double-bagging her?

I have a bathing suit fro BBB and the water proof diaper is very thick so no need to wear any other. I'm not sure about one with just a liner. Can you fit a swimmy diaper under it or will it be too tight?

They dont need a diaper under them but keep in mind that if she does pee it WILL leak out the swim diaper if there is no diaper underneath. I don't put disposable swim diapers on my kids, ever. We only use the bathing suit swim diapers.

You don't put a swimmie under the suits with the built in diaper. They're made to fit tightly around so that there is no escaping floating bits if DC goes #2. It will not prevent #1 from escaping. We have to use a built-in for safe-t-swim.
