I am going to try to make pumpkin pie this thanksgiving... Anyone has a good recipe?
For some reason, my son really wants us to make pumpkin pie this year. I have never made one before nor have I eaten one, ever.
Is anyone willing to point me in the direction of a true and tried recipe they love?

if you're looking for tried and true and nice and easy, the one on the Libbys pumpkin puree can works great.

I agree.... canned pumpkin is better. you can get the pie crust in the freezer section, just make sure to thaw it before filling it

I use the Libby's recipe....but I use condensed milk instead of evaporated milk, as they suggest. Yummy!

I'm attempting this for the first time as well. I'm going to use the one on the pumpkin can. I've already purchased the ingredients! I hope it comes out well!

my 6 and 4 year olds love the double layer pumpkin pie.

sugar, pumpkin spice, condensed milk and Libby's PUMKPKIN not Pumpkin pie mix.
AMAZING.

Oooh, thank you so much, girls!!! The funny thing is, when i did the search on Google for Pumpkin Pie recipe, Libby's is the first one that came up, but I am always so weary of pre-made ingredient... However, somethign about that recipe spoke to me, maybe it was the condenced milk...
I just needed to hear the opinion of my LIF crew! Now, I know it will be great!
