I am having my dh's friends over for dinner tomorrow night (need ideas)
My broiler doesn't work (long story) and last time they came we made sauce and meat and pasta.
I was thinking meatloaf this time. Any other ideas would be appreciated.

You can make steak. Sear on both sides in a heavy frying pan and finish in the oven. No broiler needed.
